Nucleic Acid Immunity conference & poster award for Vivianne!

In October 2024, Alexandra, Federico, Lauren, Vivianne and Christian went to the first annual meeting of the Nucleic Acid Immunity Society in Avignon. We spent a fun day travelling by Eurostar to Paris, being ripped off by a restaurant across from the Gare de Lyon, and travelling by TGV to Avignon. Next day, an intense but fascinating conference started, at which Fede, Lauren and Vivianne presented posters about their work, which resulted in much interactions with the community, and some possible future collaborations. In our spare time we managed to see the sights in Avignon and to sample the local cuisine. To top it all off, Vivianne was awarded one of the poster prizes! Finally, we returned the same way we came (minus being ripped off by our choice of lunch restaurant). We look forward to next year's meeting.
